Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Signal-Free Corridor project is rapidly advancing under the direction of the Punjab government, aiming to transform urban mobility through modern infrastructure. Officials stated that key components including Jinnah Park (Ammar Shaheed Chowk), Katcheri Chowk and Iftikhar Janjua Chowk are nearing completion with underpasses and flyovers. Authorities highlighted that the project is designed to reduce congestion, ensure smooth traffic flow and improve connectivity across major city routes. The development reflects a broader initiative to modernize road infrastructure and enhance public convenience.
