WASA reviews revenue recovery, orders strict action against defaulters

Lahore: Managing Director WASA Ghufran Ahmed chaired a meeting to review progress on revenue collection. Officials assessed ongoing recovery efforts and discussed strategies to improve performance. Authorities highlighted that strict instructions have been issued to accelerate recovery on a war footing. The MD directed that connections of defaulters who fail to clear dues should be disconnected to ensure compliance and improve revenue targets. Experts believe that stronger recovery measures will enhance WASA’s financial stability and support better delivery of water and sewerage services in the city.
