Quetta: Government Girls High School in BMC Colony has been renovated and equipped with modern educational facilities as part of efforts to improve public-sector schooling in Balochistan. The upgraded institution includes information technology facilities, a fully equipped science laboratory, improved classrooms and a supportive learning environment. Students can now conduct practical experiments and use modern learning resources alongside classroom instruction. Officials say the initiative is intended to raise educational standards and provide children with free, quality education comparable to facilities available in well-equipped private institutions. The provincial government plans to extend similar improvements to more public schools across Balochistan. (Balochistan School Education Department, Chief Minister’s Office Balochistan)
