Rawalpindi orders completion of ongoing city development projects

Rawalpindi: The divisional administration of Rawalpindi has instructed the Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation (RMC) and WASA to complete all ongoing development projects in the city by the end of June. Commissioner Abdul Aamer Khattak visited key project sites, including the WASA project near Holy Family Hospital and beautification works at Raja Bazaar and Commercial Market. Officials from RMC, WASA, IESCO, Sui Gas, and other relevant departments attended the briefing. Reports indicate that 82% of the Raja Bazaar beautification project has been completed, with most utility relocation nearing final stages, while the Commercial Market project has reached 77% completion. These projects are expected to improve urban infrastructure, enhance commercial areas, and boost real estate and business activity in central Rawalpindi.
