Ahmed Nagar faces severe water crisis as tube well fails

Lahore: Residents of Ahmed Nagar are facing a severe water crisis due to a malfunctioning tube well that supplies water to multiple societies in the area. The repeated breakdown of the tube well has left households struggling to meet daily drinking and household needs, forcing many to fetch water from distant locations. Women, children, and the elderly are particularly affected by the scarcity. Despite repeated complaints to relevant authorities, the issue remains unresolved. Locals are urging the Punjab government to urgently repair the tube well and consider installing additional facilities to ensure continuous water supply. Improved water infrastructure is critical for public health, sanitation, and the smooth functioning of urban life.
