DC Lahore reviews sanitation and infrastructure projects in Cantt

Lahore: Deputy Commissioner Lahore, Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ejaz, visited Cantt Tehsil to inspect ongoing sanitation and development projects on Dharampura and Barkee Road. He received briefings on deep cleaning and road washing operations in Dharampura, as well as infrastructure and sewerage project progress on Barkee Road, where sewerage system upgrades are advancing rapidly. The DC instructed that all drainage arrangements be completed before the monsoon season and emphasized continuous sanitation campaigns in densely populated areas. Safety measures for workers and residents must be ensured at construction sites. Officials reiterated that urban cleanliness and project quality will not be compromised, and field improvements remain the key measure of performance.
