Punjab to establish two AI schools in Lahore

Lahore: The Punjab government plans to set up two Artificial Intelligence (AI) schools in Lahore at a cost of Rs. 81 crore as part of efforts to modernize education and prepare students for emerging technologies. The schools will focus on AI, robotics, and advanced IT skills, featuring smart classrooms, modern computer labs, and digital learning tools for practical training. Authorities are also considering teacher training programs to enhance AI-related teaching capabilities. This initiative aims to align Punjab’s education system with global standards and equip students for future job markets. Can these AI schools transform the technological skillset of Punjab’s youth?
