Punjab launches Rs 25.8 billion sewerage projects in Multan

Multan: Provincial Housing Minister Bilal Yasin visited Multan and chaired a high-level meeting to review progress on Punjab development projects, with a major focus on resolving sewerage issues. Officials announced plans to introduce modern drainage systems and directed departments to complete key targets within 60 to 70 days. Projects worth Rs 25.8 billion have been approved to improve sewerage infrastructure, including upgradation of disposal stations, installation of new machinery, and development of underground water tanks for long-term drainage solutions. Authorities emphasized timely execution and coordination among departments, stating that these initiatives will significantly enhance urban infrastructure, reduce flooding risks, and improve living conditions for residents.
