Nankana DCC meeting sets strict development and safety directives

Nankana Sahib: A District Coordination Committee (DCC) meeting was chaired by MPA and Parliamentary Secretary for Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering, Sultan Tariq Bajwa, at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office. Key political representatives and district officials attended the session. Authorities issued strict directives, making personal attendance of all officers mandatory and banning tree cutting in development projects. Instructions were also given to avoid laying sewerage lines in the middle of roads and to ensure safety measures in all ongoing schemes. Officials emphasized speeding up beautification projects in Sangla Hill and Shahkot and completing all pending PDP tenders before June 30. Experts believe such coordinated planning will improve project execution, environmental protection and overall urban development in the district.
