LDA Seals 147 Lahore Properties Over Illegal Commercial Use

Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority has sealed 147 properties during a large-scale crackdown against unauthorized commercial use and non-payment of commercialization fees. According to reported details, enforcement teams sealed 89 properties on GT Road and in Gujjarpura and Shadman for illegal commercial activities. In separate recovery operations, 25 properties in Faisal Town and 33 in Sabzazar were sealed over outstanding commercialization dues. The action was carried out after notices had reportedly been issued to the property owners. LDA officials have warned owners to obtain required approvals, pay outstanding fees and comply with land-use regulations before conducting commercial activities on residential or unauthorized premises.
