Federal Budget Allocates Rs. 3 Billion for Karachi Development Projects

Karachi – The federal government has proposed allocating over Rs. 3 billion in the upcoming budget to fund ongoing development projects across the city. This includes Rs. 1.98 billion earmarked for the Green Line Bus project, while additional funds are planned for road construction, street improvements, drainage systems, and water supply schemes. Proposed allocations also cover Rs. 260 million for District West, Rs. 370 million for Nazimabad and Liaquatabad, and Rs. 350 million for projects in Landhi, Zaman Town, and Korangi. Further development funding is planned for Central, Korangi, and Malir districts, enhancing urban infrastructure and improving residents’ daily commute.
