Punjab Launches Home Delivery Service for Passport Applicants

Lahore – The Punjab government has announced a major enhancement to passport services with the launch of a home delivery system starting July 1. Director General Immigration & Passports, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, stated that applicants will receive their passports directly at home, reducing the need for repeated visits to passport offices and long waiting lines. The new system promises secure, timely, and efficient delivery in collaboration with courier services. This initiative is part of Punjab’s ongoing efforts to modernize and provide citizen-friendly services, making passport issuance faster, more convenient, and transparent. Officials highlight that this move will significantly improve the overall public experience and efficiency of government services.
