DC Lahore reviews dengue surveillance and health facilities

Lahore: Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ejaz conducted an inspection of Tehsil Saddar, focusing on dengue surveillance, health clinics, and essential goods markets. Authorities reported that no dengue larvae were found during the surveys, while health clinics and rural centers were reviewed for availability of medicines and staff attendance. The DC emphasized strict reporting of dengue larvae, daily monitoring of prices in essential goods markets, and ensuring administrative accountability among officers. Residents praised the arrangements in markets and clinics. Officials highlighted that these steps aim to reduce gaps between administrative actions and public expectations, ensuring better urban health management.
