WASA Vice Chairman reviews drainage operations in Lahore

Lahore: Under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Vice Chairman WASA Chaudhry Shehbaz Ahmad visited Qartaba Chowk to inspect ongoing drainage operations. During the visit, officials reviewed field conditions and directed WASA teams to accelerate water drainage activities citywide. Emphasis was placed on clearing major roads promptly and utilizing all resources to drain water from low-lying areas efficiently. WASA Lahore continues to operate actively in the field to facilitate citizens, maintain smooth traffic flow, and minimize flooding impacts during heavy rains. This initiative also supports urban infrastructure and residential property safety in affected areas.
