Residents of Bilal and Bismillah Parks protest over lack of basic facilities

Lahore: Residents of Bilal Park and Bismillah Park in Daroghawala, Lahore, took to the streets to protest against the lack of essential civic facilities. Protesters demanded immediate solutions for sewerage, gas supply, clean drinking water, and repair of broken streets. Locals reported that gas supply has been severely disrupted for over a year and a half, affecting daily household routines, especially for women preparing meals for children. The sewerage system has been in disrepair for three years, with stagnant and foul water creating health hazards and obstructing daily life. Residents urge the Punjab government and relevant authorities to restore services and repair infrastructure to ensure a healthier and safer living environment.
