Dubai Resumes Four Global Village Bus Routes With Electric Boat Rides

Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has resumed four dedicated bus routes to Global Village for its 31st season, providing residents and tourists with convenient public transport connections to the popular entertainment destination.

According to RTA’s October 12, 2026 announcement, the services operate on routes 102, 103, 104 and 106, connecting Global Village with Al Rashidiya (Centrepoint), Union, Al Ghubaiba and Mall of the Emirates bus stations. Buses run at intervals of 40 to 60 minutes, depending on the route.

The 103 service from Union operates every 40 minutes, while the other three routes run approximately every 60 minutes. Published fare information differs between sources, with reports quoting AED10 and AED12 for a one-way journey. Visitors should confirm the current fare through RTA before travelling.

Alongside the buses, RTA has reintroduced two environmentally friendly electric abras, offering sightseeing trips along the waterways inside Global Village. These boat rides are a separate attraction and do not transport visitors from the bus stations.

Global Village opened its 31st season on October 14, 2026, and is scheduled to operate until May 2027. The resumed transport services aim to improve visitor accessibility while reducing dependence on private vehicles.
