PHA plants over 2,000 trees at Lahore Ring Road under spring campaign

Lahore: The Parks and Horticulture Authority, in collaboration with Beaconhouse School System, planted over 2,000 saplings along Allama Iqbal Airport Ring Road as part of the spring plantation campaign. Students actively participated in the drive, promoting awareness about environmental responsibility and sustainable living. Chairman PHA Ghazali Saleem Butt appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of collective efforts in making Lahore greener and cleaner. Officials stated that the plantation campaign aligns with the Clean and Green Punjab vision under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Authorities added that such initiatives will continue to enhance urban greenery, reduce pollution, and improve the overall environmental quality of the city.
