PHA launches free home delivery service for plants in Lahore

Lahore: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has launched a free home delivery service for plants to encourage public participation in the tree plantation campaign. According to the PHA spokesperson, citizens can now call the helpline 1399 to request free plants from the comfort of their homes. The helpline also allows residents to book plants easily as part of the ongoing plantation drive. Officials stated that the initiative aims to expand the plantation campaign directly among the public and support the “Green Lahore Vision” by increasing the number of trees in the city. MD PHA Lahore Mansoor Ahmed said that to make the spring plantation campaign more effective, DG Headquarters Zona Waheed Butt has been appointed as the focal person for the initiative. Authorities urged citizens to actively participate in the campaign to help achieve the goal of a greener Lahore.
