Petrol price impact raises construction costs in Lahore by 15 percent

Reports indicate that construction material prices have increased by 10 to 18 percent since December 2025, driven by higher fuel costs affecting transportation and production. Overall project costs have surged by around 10 to 15 percent, putting pressure on developers and ongoing schemes. This trend under the Real Estate Core Cluster highlights growing challenges in the construction sector. For Lahore and Punjab, increased costs may delay projects and raise property prices for buyers.
