Federal Board of Revenue Adds Islamabad Sector E-8 to Valuation Table

Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue has updated Islamabad’s immovable property valuation framework through S.R.O. 1335(I)/2026, adding Sector E-8 to the relevant valuation table for federal tax purposes. Secondary reporting on the amendment says the update brings E-8 properties, including certain residential and commercial categories, under the applicable FBR benchmark valuation regime used in property-related tax calculations and transaction documentation. The report further states that the amendment revises the earlier S.R.O. 644(I)/2026 and includes a specific entry for Category C Shops, Class-III Shopping Center, E-8 (Naval Headquarters). The change is relevant for buyers, sellers, owners and investors dealing in property transactions in Sector E-8.
