LDA reviews Railway Station upgrade, pushes pace on Bhatti Chowk underpass

Lahore: DG LDA Tahir Farooq conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing development projects at Railway Station, Data Darbar expansion, and Bhatti Chowk underpass. Officials briefed that the Railway Station parking area development is progressing rapidly, with plans for façade upgrades and internal road remodeling of the transport depot to improve traffic flow. The relocation of an old railway engine and beautification of the site are also underway. At Bhatti Chowk, 237 piles have been completed while construction continues smoothly, including pedestrian underpass works. Authorities directed immediate acceleration of remaining work, strict safety compliance, and timely completion to enhance urban mobility and infrastructure quality in central Lahore.
