DC Lahore reviews Ravi tehsil, orders improved sanitation at Shahdara Morr

Lahore: Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ejaz visited Ravi Tehsil and reviewed sanitation operations at Shahdara Morr, directing authorities to improve municipal services. Officials from MCL, WASA, and LWMC accompanied the visit and briefed on ongoing cleaning activities across main roads and surrounding areas. The DC emphasized immediate removal of debris, timely cleaning of sewerage lines, and proper covering of manholes to ensure public safety. He also ordered strict monitoring of sanitation operations and continuation of anti-encroachment drives without discrimination. Authorities stated that enhanced cleanliness measures and improved drainage management will help maintain urban hygiene, ensure smoother traffic flow, and provide better living conditions for residents.
