LDA reviews LDA City road projects, 90% underpass piling completed

Lahore: DG LDA Tahir Farooq reviewed ongoing development works at Kamahan Lidher Road and the LDA City Structure Plan Road, directing authorities to accelerate progress and ensure high construction standards. Officials briefed that a 2.3-kilometer dual carriageway is under construction on Kamahan Lidher Road, while underpass construction on both sides of the railway track is advancing rapidly. Approximately 90 percent of piling work for the underpass has been completed, and water-bound macadam is being laid on a 1.5-kilometer stretch. Authorities stated that temporary railway line diversion has facilitated faster progress. The DG emphasized removing obstacles, maintaining quality, and ensuring timely completion to improve connectivity and urban infrastructure in the area.
