LDA demolishes illegal constructions, seals 141 properties in Lahore

Lahore: On the directives of DG LDA Tahir Farooq, the Town Planning Wing conducted operations against illegal constructions and commercial fee defaulters across multiple city areas. During the crackdown, five illegal structures were demolished and 141 properties were sealed in Johar Town, Gulberg, New Garden Town, Gujjarpura, Raiwind Road, Sabzazar and Defence Road. The sealed properties include schools, restaurants, clinics, stores and offices involved in illegal commercial use or non-payment of fees. LDA officials stated that indiscriminate action against violations will continue to ensure regulatory compliance in the provincial capital.
