Lahore Development Program reaches 60% completion in phase two

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafique chaired a review meeting on the Lahore Development Program (LDP), where officials confirmed that 60% of development work in Phase Two has been completed. Authorities stated that under MCL, construction work on 5,174 streets and roads has already been finalized, while work on an additional 1,578 streets will begin in April. Officials highlighted that the initiative is focused on improving underdeveloped areas, with expansion of WASA services to new localities. Experts believe that improved drainage and sewerage systems will help reduce urban flooding and enhance overall city infrastructure
