Karachi: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has announced the development of a Mangrove and Biodiversity Park with an accompanying Learning Centre at China Creek. Unveiled by Mayor Murtaza Wahab, the project aims to strengthen environmental sustainability, protect coastal ecosystems, and promote eco-tourism in the city. The park will include mangrove conservation zones, biodiversity trails, educational facilities, awareness programs, and eco-tourism attractions. Construction has entered the execution phase and is expected to be completed by November 2026.
