Islamabad: Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited the newly established Command, Control, Communication and Coordination Centre, where he reviewed its advanced monitoring and command systems. Officials briefed him on Safe City integration, field-force monitoring, emergency response mechanisms and artificial intelligence-based initiatives.
The centre connects key Islamabad Police operational systems through a centralised platform, allowing the police leadership to monitor Safe City operations, field deployments and the overall law-and-order situation in real time. The system is intended to improve coordination between police units and enable quicker decisions during emergencies.
The facility itself was inaugurated by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on September 8, 2026. Authorities say AI and technology-based monitoring will be used to improve police response time, field-force supervision and operational accountability.
