CDA orders Islamabad Green Paradise offices sealed over illegal development

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority has ordered the sealing of the site and management offices of Islamabad Green Paradise, located along the Islamabad Expressway service road near Koral in Zone 4-D. The official CDA public notice, issued on September 9, identifies the project as an illegal housing scheme. The authority had previously taken enforcement action against Islamabad Green Paradise in May, when its site and public-dealing offices were sealed over alleged violations of planning and development laws. CDA said the action concerned unauthorised plot transactions and urged citizens to verify a scheme’s layout plan and no-objection certificate before investing. It also advised electronic and print media against advertising unauthorised projects. (Associated Press of Pakistan)
