Ishaq Dar, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Agree to Expand Bilateral Cooperation

Cholpon-Ata: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting on 24 July 2026. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pakistan–Kyrgyzstan relations through sustained high-level engagement and timely implementation of understandings reached during recent presidential visits. The ministers reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation and discussed expanding collaboration in trade, investment, energy, regional connectivity, business-to-business engagement and people-to-people exchanges. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments and agreed to coordinate closely at multilateral forums to promote shared peace, stability and prosperity. The SCO foreign ministers’ meeting was held in Cholpon-Ata on 23–24 July.
