Cholpon-Ata: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting in Kyrgyzstan. Both sides reaffirmed the longstanding, brotherly, and close relations between Pakistan and Tajikistan and agreed to further expand cooperation in trade, investment, connectivity, energy, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. The two leaders also emphasized the importance of sustained high-level engagement to strengthen bilateral partnership. Tajikistan’s foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for peace, stability, and peaceful resolution of regional issues.
