Hinglaj Mata festival concludes with 300,000 pilgrims

Staff Reporter Quetta: The annual Hinglaj Mata religious festival in Balochistan has concluded peacefully, attracting around 300,000 pilgrims from across Pakistan and abroad. Officials stated that the spiritual gathering took place at the sacred Hinglaj Mata site, where devotees performed rituals and prayers.

Authorities highlighted that comprehensive arrangements for security, healthcare, water and other essential services were ensured to facilitate pilgrims. The event also promoted interfaith harmony and showcased the region’s potential for religious tourism.

Experts believe such large-scale religious gatherings can boost local economic activity and strengthen Pakistan’s tourism sector.
