Ishaq Dar, British envoy discuss regional tensions, stress diplomacy

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met British High Commissioner Jane Marriott to discuss the evolving regional situation. During the meeting, Dar highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to facilitate engagement between key global stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and peaceful resolution of disputes. The British envoy appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role, particularly its support in encouraging negotiations between the United States and Iran.
