Islamabad: The federal government has approved a new modern motorway route connecting Mansehra, Kaghan, Naran, Jhal Khand, and Chilas (MNJC), aimed at providing a safer alternative to the Karakoram Highway. The project, approved by Federal Minister for Communications Aleem Khan, includes major infrastructure upgrades along the route. A key feature is the 13.5-kilometer Babusar Tunnel, which will become Pakistan’s longest tunnel.
