DG LDA Tahir Farooq Inspects Data Darbar Expansion and Nasser Bagh Underground Parking Project in Lahore

DG LDA Tahir Farooq, accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Advisor Zeeshan Malik, conducted an inspection of the Data Darbar expansion project and the Nasser Bagh underground parking plaza in Lahore. Chief Engineer TEPA Iqrar Hussain and project directors briefed DG LDA Tahir Farooq on ongoing development works, including tile and greenery work on the Data Darbar piazza, façade upgrades of surrounding buildings, pedestrian underpass, parking areas, and toilet blocks. The Nasser Bagh underground parking project is 65% complete, with the grey structure of Basement-2 finished and work on Basement-1 progressing. DG LDA Tahir Farooq also reviewed tree plantation efforts, advised adherence to international standards for signage, parking systems, and fire alarms, and emphasized safety SOPs during monsoon construction. The projects aim to improve visitor convenience, traffic flow, and urban infrastructure in Lahore.
