Peshawar: Normal life is gradually returning to Peshawar after two days of tight security and road closures. Major roads have reopened, public transport and BRT services have resumed, and markets and commercial centres are again operating. HUM News English Authorities have removed or shifted several containers placed on key routes, including access roads toward sensitive areas, although some restrictions remain around the Red Zone and Peshawar High Court–Press Club corridor. Police and security personnel are still deployed at important locations as authorities continue to monitor the situation.
Educational institutions in Peshawar have reopened, while closures and restrictions continue in some of the 12 districts placed under emergency arrangements. The easing of roadblocks, restoration of public transport and reopening of businesses have brought routine activity back to much of the provincial capital, though political and security tensions remain.
