Dubai Restores Four Bus Routes as Global Village Season

Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the return of four dedicated bus routes connecting major transport stations with Global Village as the popular attraction begins its 31st season on October 14, 2026. The seasonal transport services aim to make travel easier for residents and tourists visiting the destination, which is scheduled to remain open until May 2027.

According to RTA, Route 102 will operate from Al Rashidiya Bus Station every 60 minutes, while Route 103 will connect Union Bus Station with Global Village every 40 minutes. Route 104 from Al Ghubaiba and Route 106 from Mall of the Emirates will each operate at 60-minute intervals.

Alongside the bus services, RTA is bringing back two electric abra boats for sightseeing trips along Global Village’s internal waterways. The environmentally friendly boats will allow visitors to explore parts of the attraction from the water.

The initiative is intended to improve public transport access, provide convenient travel options and support Dubai’s tourism sector throughout the 2026–2027 season. The four bus routes and electric abra services are returning seasonal facilities rather than entirely new transport routes.
