The event began with a welcome address by CTN Chairman Masood Ali Khan, who said cartoons are not only a source of humor but also a mirror of society. He highlighted the role of print media cartoons in shaping public opinion and identifying social issues. Renowned Daily Jang cartoonist and Pride of Performance recipient Javed Iqbal attended as the chief guest, where participants welcomed his decades-long contribution to Pakistani journalism and cartoon art.
