Lahore: CTN Pakistan held a thoughtful session on cartoon art, journalism, and the future of print cartoons in the digital era. The event began with a welcome address by CTN Chairman Masood Ali Khan, who said cartoons are not only a source of humor but also a mirror of society. He highlighted the role of print media cartoons in shaping public opinion and identifying social issues. Renowned Daily Jang cartoonist and Pride of Performance recipient Javed Iqbal attended as the chief guest, where participants welcomed his decades-long contribution to Pakistani journalism and cartoon art. A special documentary on his career was also presented by CTN Executive Member Qazi Mansha. Can such sessions inspire young artists and strengthen creative journalism?
