Mayor Murtaza Wahab Completes Rs265 Million Korangi Road Project

Karachi: Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab inaugurated a new two-way road in Korangi connecting Mehrunnisa Hospital Road with Nasir Jump and Ibrahim Hyderi Creek Road. The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation completed the project at a cost of Rs265.259 million. The road is 1,700 metres long and 9.3 metres wide. The project includes a 36-inch rainwater drain, an 18-inch sewer line, footpaths on both sides and 53 streetlights. The road has been opened to the public and may make travel easier between Korangi, Malir, SIUT Hospital, nearby factories and residential areas.
