Terrorist attack on Punjab Police check post in Bhakkar; two policemen martyred

Bhakkar: Terrorists attacked the Dajal police check post in the outskirts of Bhakkar, resulting in the martyrdom of two Punjab Police personnel. The martyred officials were identified as Constable Faheem Abbas and Constable Shahbaz Madni. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz strongly condemned the incident and paid tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the fallen officers. She also expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and directed authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the injured, including a constable, polio workers, and passersby affected in the attack. Security agencies have initiated further investigation and response measures following the incident.
