Lahore recorded an AQI of 291, a significant improvement compared to New Delhi’s dangerously high **647. According to Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, EPA teams inspected hundreds of vehicles on motorways and checked **102 brick kilns. Out of these, **87 kilns were operating with zigzag technology and emitting no black smoke, while only one kiln violated standards and was fined Rs. 100,000.
