Lahore: WASA Lahore Vice Chairman Chaudhry Shahbaz Ahmad inspected the agency’s under-construction new head office, reviewing the progress and quality of ongoing construction. Deputy Managing Director Operations Abdul Latif and Director Shazil Waqar accompanied him during the visit.
The vice chairman directed officials to complete the building within the scheduled timeframe, maintain construction standards without compromise and ensure the facility is completed according to modern requirements. He also ordered regular monitoring and submission of progress reports.
The new state-of-the-art WASA head office is being developed in Johar Town and is intended to bring public-facing services together under one roof. WASA’s own project information lists construction of the new head office as an ongoing initiative aimed at improving public facilitation.
Earlier inspections of the same project also stressed modern engineering, energy efficiency, environmental considerations and stronger monitoring of construction quality.
