Lahore: The Punjab government has approved the Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop-4 project, which is planned to extend the ring road beyond Maraka on Multan Road towards the Sharaqpur corridor. Earlier planning documents described SL-4 as a route crossing the Ravi and connecting Multan Road with the motorway and Sharaqpur side of Lahore.
