Karachi: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met Sri Lankan Consul General Sanjeewa Pattiwila at Governor House to discuss strengthening Pakistan–Sri Lanka relations. Both sides reviewed opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, tourism and joint ventures. The governor highlighted Sindh’s potential for international investors and stressed the importance of stronger links between the business communities of both countries. Discussions also focused on increasing Pakistani exports to Sri Lanka, particularly textiles, rice, pharmaceuticals, sports goods and agricultural products. Both officials reaffirmed their commitment to promoting closer economic engagement and mutually beneficial cooperation between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
