Sharjah bans transit trucks through Al Dhaid to ease traffic

Sharjah: Authorities in Sharjah have announced a ban on transit trucks passing through Al Dhaid as part of broader traffic management efforts. The decision aims to reduce congestion, enhance road safety, and streamline vehicle movement on key routes in the emirate. Heavy vehicles will be redirected to designated alternative routes, easing pressure on roads frequently used by residents and daily commuters. Officials have urged truck operators and logistics companies to comply with the new regulations to avoid violations while ensuring smooth transportation operations. The initiative aligns with Sharjah’s long-term urban mobility and traffic safety plans.
