Sharjah: Sharjah Ruler Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi has approved the division of Khor Fakkan into four districts: Khor Fakkan City, Al Aweinat, Al Sayh and Al Sabihiya. The move is aimed at supporting population growth and improving the administration and development of the eastern region. Alongside the district restructuring, plans are also being developed to expand healthcare facilities in Kalba, Khor Fakkan and Dibba Al Hisn. New hospitals and additional medical resources are expected to strengthen healthcare access for residents. The initiatives are part of broader development efforts focused on improving public services and supporting the region’s growing communities.
