Quantum Global to develop major data centre with Huawei

Islamabad: Gul Ahmed Energy Group’s Quantum Global Data Centre (QGDC) has announced plans to develop a major data centre in Pakistan in partnership with Huawei, alongside a science and technology park. The project is designed to strengthen the country’s digital infrastructure, supporting cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies. Officials highlight that this initiative will meet growing demand for data storage and computing power as businesses and public services increasingly move online. The collaboration aims to accelerate Pakistan’s digital transformation, enhance innovation in the IT sector, and improve access to modern technology infrastructure nationwide.
