Punjab Spatial Planning Authority to Activate Construction Violation Detection System from Feb 15

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafiq announced that the Punjab Spatial Planning Authority (PSPA) will launch its construction violation detection system on February 15, alongside activation of the Planning Support System (PSS) control module. The digital system will integrate with the Punjab government’s e-Biz platform, while the “e-Construction” processing portal has already become operational. Officials stated the initiative aims to enhance master planning, prevent unauthorized construction, and regulate use of green areas. The authority, chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is expected to strengthen urban governance, improve transparency, and ensure stricter compliance with planning regulations across Punjab.
