Punjab CM Approves Cultural Selfie Points to Promote Lahore’s Heritage

The Government of Punjab, under special directives of the Chief Minister, has launched an initiative to promote Lahore’s rich cultural heritage by establishing cultural selfie points across the city. The first such point has been set up on Ferozepur Road, near Gulab Devi Hospital and Model Town. The site features a unique Tanga Cart installation highlighting Punjab’s traditional culture, along with Pakistan’s largest bicycle and tanga cart displays. Designed with vibrant truck art and cultural elements, the spot has quickly become popular among families, children, and pedestrians for photos and short videos. The Parks and Horticulture Authority says more cultural selfie points will be developed across Lahore to provide positive recreational spaces and strengthen the city’s cultural identity.
