Punjab announces officer transfers and promotes eight to Grade 19

Lahore: The Punjab government has issued a notification announcing multiple appointments, transfers, and promotions across key departments to strengthen administrative performance. Shafqatullah Mushtaq has been appointed as Secretary Revenue at the Board of Revenue, while Hassan Zafar has been assigned as Deputy Secretary in the Chief Secretary’s Office with additional responsibilities. Several senior officers, including Captain (R) Muhammad Ajmal and others from the PSP cadre, have been promoted to Grade 19 on a regular basis. Officials stated that these changes aim to enhance governance efficiency, ensure continuity in administration, and improve service delivery across departments. Authorities emphasized that strategic placements and timely promotions will contribute to better institutional performance in Punjab.
