Plant for Pakistan drive gains momentum in Lahore with large-scale plantation campaign

Lahore: The “Plant for Pakistan” initiative under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is gaining momentum as the Parks and Horticulture Authority intensifies its spring plantation campaign across the city. Officials stated that comprehensive planning has been finalized to ensure effective execution and long-term sustainability of green initiatives. Under the direction of PHA Chairman Ghazali Saleem Butt, field teams are actively engaged in planting trees and enhancing green belts throughout Lahore. The campaign aims to improve air quality, reduce environmental pollution, and promote urban greenery. Authorities have also encouraged citizens to participate by planting trees and contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
